With a bachelor's degree in Genetics from Texas A&M University, Mayra found her true calling in veterinary medicine. Her love for working with families and helping their beloved furry companions live long, happy, and healthy lives led her to pursue this fulfilling career.

When she's not saving lives, you can find Dr Guzman indulging in her hobbies of spending quality time with family and friends, watching movies, and getting lost in captivating books. Her own fur family includes Achillies, a mixed dog; Rocky, a bulldog; Apollo, a cat; as well as Penelope and Loki - two adorable sugar gliders.

Adding excitement to her already impressive repertoire of skills, Mayra's favorite areas of medicine include ultrasound diagnostics, surgical procedures, and caring for exotic animals.
